BEIJING China's car sales, consumer spending and manufacturing facility output improved in October in a brand-new sign of financial recovery as the Communist Party prepared to install a brand-new generation of leaders. Growth in manufacturing facility output increased to 9. 6 percent over a year previously from the previous month's 9. 2 percent, the government reported Friday. Retail sales rose 14. 5 percent, up from September's 14. 2 percent. Additionally in October, inflation relieved further, providing Beijing even more space to cut rate of interest or launch brand-new stimulus measures to speed a recovery with less risk of igniting politically dangerous cost increases. The information are welcome updates for the ruling party, which is meeting in Beijing for a once-a-decade handover of power to younger leaders.

Key:

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
